    Made in 1971 by Gruppo Dam for Busnelli, the Zen coffee table reflects the playful modular spirit of Italian design in the early 1970s. Its yin-yang inspired form is composed of two interlocking fiberglass elements on casters, each featuring a recessed circular compartment that serves both as storage and sculptural detail.


    Busnelli, a company with over half a century of furniture innovation, is known for producing groundbreaking designs of the era, including the Fiocco and Libro chairs—both part of MoMA’s permanent collection. The Zen table shares this heritage, combining functionality, mobility, and a bold sculptural presence.
