Kaustik Mirror
The Kaustik Mirror challenges the traditional function of a mirror — not as a tool for self-control, but as a surface for atmospheric absorption. Made from bent polypropylene, the mirror rejects the rigid, flat form and instead introduces fluidity and distortion.
There is no clear reflection, no centered self. Instead, the Kaustik Mirror captures fragments, movement, and the colours of its surroundings. It reacts like water — soft, unstable, and ever-changing. What you see is not yourself, but the energy of the space around you.
By bending the material, the mirror becomes less about clarity and more about presence. It’s a reflection of a moment, not a portrait. A playful interruption of the mirror’s usual authority — turning it into something sensual, immersive, and alive.
