    Vintage 1970s Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen ‘Ilumesa’ Floor Lamp & Table – Denmark


    The Ilumesa by Verner Panton is a rare hybrid of furniture and lighting, designed in the late 1960s and produced by Louis Poulsen. Both lamp and table in one, it reflects Panton’s experimental approach to design, where function and atmosphere seamlessly merge.


    Made from white acrylic, the cylindrical form emits a soft, diffused glow from below, while the flat upper surface serves as a side or coffee table. Its sculptural presence and multifunctional design embody the futuristic spirit of Panton’s work and the playful optimism of the Space Age era.
