What the helly.. liquidation in zurich

Today we went to our very first private estate liquidation and wow, it was a wild ride. The previous owner clearly had an incredible eye for design and aesthetics: the place was bursting with design classics from all kinds of eras. Since we had no idea what to expect (and the seasoned furniture dealers weren’t exactly the chatty type), we were twice as nervous.

At exactly 10 a.m. the gates opened and suddenly everyone sprinted like it was the Olympics. It was hilarious, but also kind of a competition, everyone hunting for the ultimate bargain. Luckily, we had scouted the website beforehand and managed to secure a few of our favorites.
