This bold, sculptural clothes rack (porte-manteau) was designed by Valerique Douebrovinskes for Intexal-Rodier’s boutiques in 1973. Cast in red acrylic/fiberglass, it features sweeping curves and two polished metal hanging rods, merging functional retail display with striking visual impact.

Its dramatic silhouette evokes the spirit of 1970s pop design, standing as a statement piece even when not in use. Though originally conceived for boutique interiors, its form and finish make it a standout focal point in private settings as well.

A variant is also listed with dimensions: 213.5 cm height × 105 cm width × 45 cm depth in an auction catalog.

This piece was lovingly selected, carefully transported and thoroughly inspected. Its age-related patina tells a story, making it truly one of a kind.
