The Aster X chair by Jean-Marie Massaud is basically a modern version of the classic director’s chair. It has a simple X-shaped steel frame with a clean and elegant look, but still feels really comfortable and relaxed.

The series also includes a matching pouffe and table, both using the same X-shaped base. There’s also another version of the chair where the legs continue directly into the armrests, without the visible X-frame, while keeping the same minimal style.
