Vladimir Kagan for Chromecraft dining table

Sculptural dining table attributed to Vladimir Kagan for Chromecraft, United States. The oval smoked glass top rests on a polished aluminium pedestal that tapers like a stem and opens into a broad foot, anchored by a heavy base in black stone.

Kagan worked in a far more sculptural language than most of his American contemporaries, and this table shows it: no visible joints, no straight lines, just one continuous silhouette carrying a floating surface. The smoked glass keeps the whole piece light despite its size and lets the base stay visible from every angle.

Seats four to six comfortably and works as well under a pendant in a dining room as it does as a statement piece in an open living space.

Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of use and patina consistent with its age.
