This striking Albatros chair, attributed to Danielle Quarante, embodies the spirit of Space Age design with a fluid, organic shell form. The molded fiberglass and resin construction allows for smooth curves and an enveloping silhouette, making it as much sculpture as seating.

Its distinctive presence is tempered by practical comfort, the chair’s shape cradles the body while retaining a bold, modernist profile. Ideal as a statement lounge chair, it complements interiors that value bold form, texture, and mid-century innovation.

Made in France (or produced under French design influence), circa late 1960s / early 1970s.

This piece was lovingly selected, carefully transported and thoroughly inspected. Its age-related patina tells a story, making it truly one of a kind.
